Greece State Codes

When dealing with addresses or locations in Greece, our API uses the following state codes. These codes are based on the ISO 3166-2:GR standard for Greece's administrative regions (περιφέρειες).

Usage Notes

Greece is divided into 13 administrative regions (περιφέρειες) and one autonomous region
Most codes follow the format 'GR-' followed by a single letter
Mount Athos (GR-69) has a special autonomous status
Attica (GR-I) contains the capital city Athens
When specifying locations in Greece in your API requests, please use these exact codes for the region
