Japan Prefecture Codes
When dealing with addresses or locations in Japan, our API uses the following prefecture codes. These codes are based on the ISO 3166-2:JP standard for Japan's prefectures.

Usage Notes
- Japan is divided into 47 prefectures (todofuken)
- All codes follow the format 'JP-' followed by a two-digit number
- Tokyo (JP-13) is officially a metropolitan prefecture (to)
- Hokkaido (JP-01) is officially a territory (do)
- Osaka (JP-27) and Kyoto (JP-26) are officially urban prefectures (fu)
- The remaining 43 are standard prefectures (ken)
- When specifying locations in Japan in your API requests, please use these exact codes for the prefecture
