Usage Notes
- The UAE consists of seven emirates, each with its own local government
- Codes follow the ISO format with 'AE-' prefix followed by two letters
- Abu Dhabi (AE-AZ) is the capital emirate of the UAE
- Dubai (AE-DU) is the largest city and main business hub
- When specifying locations in the UAE in your API requests, please use these exact codes for the emirate
Special Considerations
- Each emirate may have multiple cities and municipalities
- Some free zones and special economic areas may have specific addressing requirements
- For international shipping and documentation, always include both the emirate code and the city name
